Club details

Marshwood Vale are a very active and enthusiastic club. We take part in nearly every competition that the county has in offer throughout the year including cookery, stockjudging, public speaking, sports and drama to name but a few. We have even managed to reach national finals several times this year!

Our club meets every Tuesday night to take part in a variety of activities and tours of local businesses.

We currently have 50 members of all age groups from 10-28. You don’t have to be a farmer to be a young farmer. We have members who are still studying at school or university, accountants, vets, agricultural engineers as well as lots of farmers.

We always focus on fundraising throughout the year. This year our chosen charities are the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance and Ukraine. With fundraising events such as our Winter Freshwater Ball, Big Breakfast, Easter Bingo, Pantomime and Quiz Night we have raised just over £10,000 this year.
