Chairman’s Message

Hello all,

where has the past month gone?…

August has been a bit of a quieter month for all YFC members and Clubs. Members have been busy taking part in Harvest season.

We held the County Quiz on 5th August which was well attended by most clubs it was lovely to see a few senior members and junior teams coming forward to compete. August has seen the start of clubs organising and manning the Dorset YFC stand at Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show and Melplash Show. Also august saw the South West Area Junior Weekend Camp at PGL in Shropshire. We had 15 members from Dorset attend the weekend with myself and Peter attend as leaders hopefully all members and I know we enjoyed the weekend away with plenty of activities and water fights to take part in, for anyone who is thinking of going next year should totally attend its a great weekend with making friends, memories and keeping active.

Good Luck to all clubs with their Club AGMs in the next month looking forward to seeing you all on our travels around the county in the next coming weeks.  Also good luck to Puddletown and Blandford at Dorset County Show with the Dorset YFC Stand.
