Chairman’s Message

Hello all,

I think we can finally say summer has arrived (dare I say it’s too hot). Clubs have started to become quieter on meetings due to having lots of members involved with the harvest time, but I see other clubs have started to have those fun, entertaining meetings outside some involving a cool down with water involved!

July has been a quieter month, well done to those who went up and represented Dorset/ South West in the clay shooting, junior reading, auctioneering, situations vacant and cricket at the national finals at the beginning of the month! Well done to those who managed to get placed and thank you all for going and taking part and making Dorset proud!

July saw the mock auction and bowling competitions take place, thanks to Puddletown and Beaminster for organising those on behalf of the county.

Hope all the clubs enjoy the nice weather with farm walks and fun summer activities, stay safe in the heat and hopefully all those who are off for the summer holidays enjoy their break!
